Third, getting out of bed early leaves a sense of accomplishment that will stick with you throughout the day, allowing you to take on whatever life decides to throw at you.
Make your bed in the morning
It only takes a minute, yet, so many of us brush it off with excuses such as “I don’t have time”, “It’s just going to get unmade tonight”, and so on.
Making your bed has been proven to lead to increased productivity and is a great way to kick-start your day. It may only be a small accomplishment but it is enough to get you ready to take-on the day.
The commander of U.S. Special Operations, Admiral William McRaven explained it best: “If you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another. By the end of the day, that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter.”
